Rules

1. Six of these nine roles are in play, privately assigned at random. Everyone sees what their role looks like at the start of the night.

2. Players with roles act on random targets in their night-wake order. Some of these actions may change your role or team without your knowledge.

3. After 5 minutes of talk, everyone must vote simultaneously for a player to die. All players with the most votes die. (Special case: If all players receive 1 vote, then none die.)

Win Conditions

1. JESTER wins if the Jester dies.

2. EVIL wins if at least one Wolf is in play and no Wolf dies, or if a non-Pawn player dies and a Pawn is in play with no Wolves.

3. GOOD wins if at least one Wolf dies or if no Wolves are in play and no one dies.

Night Wake Order

1. Wolves know the identity of the other Wolf. If there is only one active Wolf, he can view one unused card.

2. The Pawn knows the identity of any Wolves.

3. The Cop sees another player's card.

4. The Thief exchanges his card with another player's card and then views his new card.

5. The Meddler switches the cards of two other players without looking at them.

No Night Action

The Townie never wakes up.

The Jester never wakes up. His win condition is to die.
